This guide shows you how to log in to your Genshin Impact account with the details we send you, and how to secure it.
Important: play the game for about 5 days before you change any account details
If you change details on a new account too early, the game's security checks can stop you from logging in for a while.
Step 1: Receive your account information
You will receive an email that looks like this
abcdef@mail.com----abcdef123----abcdef321
Format: Email----Game Password----Email Password
Here is what each part means:
abcdef@mail.com (Email): the email address for the account.
abcdef123 (Game Password): used to log in to Genshin Impact.
abcdef321 (Email Password): used to log in to the email.
Some accounts use a username instead of an email. Their format is Username----Password. If you have one of these, go to Step 3.
Step 2: Log into your email
Outlook
Go to outlook.com and sign in with your Email and Email Password.
Mail.com
Go to mail.com and sign in with your Email and Email Password.
Step 3: Log into Genshin Impact
Sign in with your Email (or Username) and Game Password.
Step 4: Get the verification code if asked
If the game asks for a verification code, open the email, then enter the code in the game.
Step 5: Check the account matches your order, then play
Check that the account has the characters and resources listed in your order. Do not change anything yet. If anything is wrong, email team@rerollmart.com first. Once you change the account's email or password, you can no longer get a replacement under our refund policy. If everything matches, enjoy the game.
Securing your account
Now
Change your email password at outlook.com or mail.com. This does not change your game password.
After about 5 days of active play
Go to account.hoyoverse.com and open Account Security. Change the game password and the registered email. Turn on two-factor authentication. Check the linked platforms.
Accounts with a username have no email, so skip the first step.
