Should you reroll in Arknights: Endfield?
Yes, in most cases. Rerolling means you make a new account, play until the gacha unlocks, spend your starting pulls, and start again if the results are weak. Your first Operators affect how the rest of the game feels. Each attempt takes 30 to 45 minutes, so a few tries are reasonable.
What do you start with?
Every account gets Ardelia for free, so she is never a reroll target. Your aim is to get at least one strong 6-star Operator as well as her before you keep an account.
Who should you reroll for?
Your main target is the featured limited Operator on the current banner. Limited Operators leave when their banner ends. They only come back on a rerun, so they are the priority. Standard-pool Operators stay available forever, so they are never a reason to reroll.
The limited banner has a 120-pull spark. If you have not pulled the featured Operator by pull 120, the game gives them to you. The spark belongs to that banner only and resets when the banner ends, so every Oroberyl you start with counts toward it.
If Pogranichnik or Last Rite appear as well as your target, keep them as a bonus. Both are strong standard-pool Operators, but neither one is a reason to reset.
How long does each attempt take?
The Prologue takes about 15 minutes and you cannot skip it. The tutorial after it takes another 15 to 30 minutes before pulling unlocks. Allow 30 to 45 minutes per attempt.
How do you reroll?
- Register a new account with a new email.
- Clear the Prologue. This takes about 15 minutes and you cannot skip it.
- Finish the opening tutorial until pulling unlocks.
- Claim your starter Oroberyl from the mailbox. This is your pull currency for the character banners.
- Pull the New Horizons beginner banner first. It uses HH Permits, which you earn through the story, not Oroberyl. Finish it before the limited banner. It guarantees a 6-star Operator by pull 40.
- Spend your Oroberyl on the current limited banner. This decides the reroll. The limited banner and the standard character banner both use Oroberyl.
- Check your result. If you got the featured limited Operator, keep the account. If you did not, start again from step 1 with a new email.
How do you speed it up?
The Prologue is always the same, so you will get faster after the first few runs. Prepare a list of emails before you start. If your target appears in the first ten pulls, stop and save the rest for the account you keep.
What should you check on a new account?
If you bought the account instead of rerolling it yourself, check that it matches your order before you change anything. Check the server and the Oroberyl balance. If you change the account first, you can no longer get a refund or a replacement. There is more detail in is buying an account safe.
